I am a working professional in Pune looking to do a short management course that can enhance my knowledge and add to my CV. I am not convinced with the option of distance learning MBA, is there a part time MBA course with Symbiosis Pune I can apply for which will provide me with an MBA Marketing degree?
Specific to the requirements mentioned by you, the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, a part of the Symbiosis University, provides a one year Post Graduate Diploma Program in MBA Marketing with classes held every weekend especially for the convenience of working professionals like you. The application forms for this diploma in MBA in Marketing will be made available 15th April onwards. Also the applicants will be required to appear for an entrance exam on the 30th of May consisting o 100 questions on Verbal Ability.
However, if you are looking specifically for an MBA degree then you can apply for the executive MBA program at the Symbiosis Institute of Business management a 30 month weekend program designed specifically for working professionals. CRM is a growing field and has applications in several organizations especially the service industry. So doing a course in CRM will be useful. However, the other important aspect you should consider is - is that a field that you think you will enjoy. If the answer is yes, then most certainly consider specializing in that. If not, then please rethink what are the fields that you see around you that you feel you would enjoy. Accordingly you can then select the course you need to do.
But the last answer remains with you as you'll be best judge of yourself that whcih course you'll enjoy more and where your basic interest goes. So its better you should choose the subjects as per your choice and aptitude. All fields have equal value but the validity is based on how you perform and at which grade you are amongst your peer group.
For dual degree you need to contact the University as they'll be able to tell you whether this option is available or not. For admission all the students who have done their graduation in any stream of Science, Arts or Commerce are eligible for admission to 2 years PGDBM from Symbiosis Center for Distance learning.
